Sustainable Construction of the Periphery: Eco-Cities
In the EFLA, Regional Congress of Landscape Architecture celebrated in Tallinn (Estonia) in November 2011 under the name “Mind the gap: Landscapes for a New Era” a poster and communication were presented and evaluated by a Scientific Committee. The capacity of each was evaluated in regards to new proposals for sustainability through the design of eco-cities or, on a smaller scale, eco-neighbourhoods and the incorporation of new steps for the regeneration of peripheral urban areas.
