This publication plays the role of an editor. The book is edited with a subsidy from the Ministry of Housing, for the “International Conference of Architecture and Urbanism from Architects’ Point of View” given on the 11th, 12th and 13th of December, 2008 in the Superior Technical School of Architecture in Madrid, organized by the Urbanism and Territorial Regulation Department, in the framework of the collaboration agreement between the Ministry of Housing and the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
It compiles the master lectures given by renowned architects such as Beatriz Corominas or Eva Kail and the different talks that were given throughout the conferences by different architects related to the proposed issues: Landscape on a small scale, Intervention in territory, a transforming practice, The public function: the effect on change processes, and Liberal profession: thinking, designing and building.
